Maria Helena K. Nerhus is a Finnish-Norwegian architect and visual artist based in Bergen and Berlin. She specializes in participatory projects focused on cultural history and local knowledge. Holding a master’s degree in architecture from Bergen School of Architecture, she freelances as an architect while pursuing her art practice.

My work is driven by the question of belonging, exploring affect and non-human agency in art and architecture, and how dreamscapes and nature shape social narratives and belief sytems.
